Aircraft Commerce Recruitment has been instructed by our client to find a Vice President of International Sales, this vacancy has become available due to retirement. Our client is an extremely successful and profitable operation and are experiencing an exciting global expansion and development, even during the current economic global dowturn. The successful candidate would be required to take this development on to the next stage and ensure our clients growth pattern stay in line with demanding growth targets by designing and formulating the commercial and quality objectives and development of the brand and services. 
 

You will report to the Head of Global Sales and major requirements of this position would include establishing the international Sales policies, implement sales systems, proactively plan objectives and define sales deliverable and quantifiable future accomplishments.  You will undertake overall responsability and accountability for the International Sales department and build and maintain world-wide commercial relationships with all concerned agencies, corporate and aviation authorities including our clients' business partners. You will constantly be required to develop recognition programs that motivate and retain associates worldwide and be able to establish a culture amongst the sales team, business associates and agencies which reflect the company's core values, constantly reinforcing them to ensure they are engrained in all personnel. 
 

Analyzing attrition, productivity and other metrics with a view to enable optimum utilization of international sales departments will be key to the role, as will reviewing the FAM's trend, analysis and general monitoring. Identifying any areas of concern and highlighting these to the respective department at Head Office will also be of utmost importance. You will strategically monitor the market and continuously review the sales strategy with a view to increasing our client's market share by using sales tools and market intelligence, a result of huge amounts of research. Providing feedback achievements, deficiencies, market trends and business challenges to the higher mamagement clearly, concisely and intelligently are vital.
 

You need to be a university graduate ideally with a degree in International Sales and Marketing with at least 10 years sales experience in the aviation industry, at least 5 being in a senior role in sales departments. Vast experience in international airline sales, reservations, revenue and pricing and an in depth knowledge of the international markets are necessities. Personally you will be an individual who is highly driven with strong leadership and team building qualities and highly effective in maintaining financial and operational discipline when required.
