General Manager Cargo - Middle East

Aircraft Commerce Recruitment is pleased to announce that we have been instructed by our client to recruit a General Manager of the Cargo team at a well established and exciting commercial airline in the Middle East.

The airline is expanding rapidly and the successful candidate will be part of that process by developing and overlooking a highly effective sales and marketing strategy of the cargo wing ensuring ambitious targets are met.  The client has specified an excellent communicator being able to inform all internal and external stakeholders of policies and procedures on the one hand and communicate effectively to all ground handlers, flight operations and customer services representatives on the other.  A complete knowledge of cargo sales, operational procedures and cargo distribution channels are a must.

You will be a self starter who is exceptionally organised and be able to think creatively when the situation arises.  In return the client is offering a senior management salary plus housing, medical scheme and full airline travel privileges.

You will have at least a University degree and also enhanced management qualification in cargo sales, processing, distribution channels and operational procedures as relevant to International Airlines.

The successful candidate will have 10 years experience in the cargo industry with at least 5 years in a management role of a recognised international airline, managing cargo.
