VP Revenue Management & Distribution - Asia
Aircraft Commerce Recruitment has been instructed by our client to find a Vice President Revenue Management & Distrbution for their large and highly succesful airline based in Asia. The airline is a well established and well known brand in the industry and has a comprehensive route network domestically and internationaly. Even in the current economic climate the airline is enjoying an extremely enviable growth pattern, winning many industry awards along the way; this is a superb operation with a hugely exciting future ahead.
They are looking for the right candidate to join them and hit the ground running in the senior role to ensure they continue to fulfill their potential in the near and long term future. You will have sole responsability for Yiel Management, Space Control, Pricing and GDS. Through effective Yield Management and capacity control you will be expected to achieve Airmax Forecast accuracy as per a defined level, ensure that critical flights operate at seat factors above 85%, maintain all GDS costs and grow the market share by realistic capacity deployment and competitive pricing.
Your career thus far must include 15 years functional revenue management experience with a reputed airline, where the relevant disciplines of Yield Management and optimization parameters are in effective practice with performance measurement processes. You will have an in depth knowledge & experience of airline network planning, demand forecasting, international and domestic pricing, yield mamagement systems, reservation systems, distribution, alliances & code share.
On a personal level you will be hungry for success, immersing yourself in the role and being as passionate as all the other employees are in taking the brand forward effectively and growing market share. The airline has been one of the real success stories over the past few years and the new VP Revenue Management & Distribution will be expected to conitnue this success in the role.
You will report directly to the Chairman and CEO.
