The in-service performance & maintenance costs of big twin engines, Issue 59 August/September 2008
There are six main engine types powering the A330 and 777. These are the largest turbofans in airline service, and some have been in operation for 15 years. Their in-service performance, removal intervals, shop visit cost inputs, LLP reserves, and maintenance reserves are analysed.
