AIR SUPPORT is one of the leading European suppliers of Flight Planning software optimization solutions with integrated web-based CrewBriefing facilities which are aimed at charter/cargo/scheduled airline operators, military operators as well as business jet operators. AIR SUPPORT is a Danish owned corporation with company headquarters located at Billund Airport, Denmark. The company was established in 1989 today it serves more than 275 clients in 31 countries who operate more than 280 aircraft types. More than 50 of these clients are charter/cargo/scheduled airline operators who operate aircraft from the Jetstream 31 class up through Fokker 50 and ATR range to the typical main line aircraft such as EMB-145, EMB-170, B737, B757, A320, A330 series aircraft.

AIR SUPPORT’s main product is the PPS – Preflight Planning System. The PPS system is a true in-house installed business efficiency flight planning tool which contains all data installed on the operator’s network. The internet is used for automatic update retrievals on a continuing basis. PPS enable complete CrewBriefing via the Internet where the pilot can review company messages, the flight log, trip tailored surface weather data, trip tailored notam briefing, trip tailored wind charts and significant weather charts prior to print-out or expedition to a fax number.

The PPS Flight Planning system interfaces to the majority of existing scheduling/load/crew planning software platforms such as AIMS, Sabre RM Rocade, Netline, Lisline, RussellAdams, Ortec and other systems.

PPS handles the traditional Eurocontrol RPL structured flight plans which are common in the European airline operations theatre. However, since PPS features an AutoDispatch system and the fully automatic AMEXSY internet based flight plan filing system, it enables airlines to run a completely full automatic calculation of all flight plans on dynamic FPL filing basis. As changes are updated in the airline’s scheduling/crew planning system (or entered manually in the PPS system) PPS will automatically re-calculate all flight log data on the new basis as well as Auto-File all ATC changes to the CFMU as well as all other relevant FIR’s outside the CFMU area.

Dynamic data feed of schedule changes, aircraft changes, load data etc. coupled with a flight planning system engine that knows the aircraft’s performance profiles, DOC costs, fuel costs and the en-route overflight charges on each specific ATC routing analyzed will enable the airline to achieve full automatic optimization and selection of the minimum production cost routing and best economical FL profile for all flights each day in relation to actual weight and forecasted en-route winds and temperatures.

The combined synergy arising from running data feed from your scheduling/crew/load planning systems into the PPS Flight Planning system with onward automatic upload of calculated flight log data and re-calculated changes whenever applicable, ensure that your airline will have the most modern and powerful flight planning system available. PPS is fully pc-based and require only Windows XP, 2000 or Vista to run without any need to purchase and maintain expensive main-frame server structures and operating software platforms.

AIR SUPPORT hereby invites you to visit our booth during the conference show where Mr Per Jensen, CEO will welcome you. We look forward to showing you live highlights within the PPS system and to demonstrate its integrity and features in relation to your requirements.
