Sabre® AirCentre™ Flight Explorer offers real-time flight tracking in an operations management decision support solution. The broad and expanding source of global data provides real-time flight tracking information around the world via the FAA’s ASDI feed for IFR traffic, UK Class I data feed, international radar feeds, Honeywell GDC datalink, and ARINC Direct for ACARS position messaging. We expect to be able to provide also position information for the European airspace beginning of 2010. Flight Explorer is now fully integrated with ACARS Manager allowing for more seamless and effective operational management. Extensive, customized weather options from multiple providers bring the most paramount products in the industry, and eliminate the need to choose only one. A comprehensive and advanced event alerting system generates alerts via voice, e-mail, on-screen event list, PC Audio or log file for aircraft events such as arrivals, departures, change in ETA, flight plan received or altitude, proximity to destination, and METAR, RVR, and diversions.
Sabre® Dispatch Manager is designed for all sizes of airlines world-wide. It enables a flight operations department to operate its own dispatching and flight planning system with little help. It interfaces with virtually all passenger reservations and message switching systems and provides the centralized functionality of mainframe dispatch systems in a flexible client/server setting. Carriers of any size can benefit, whether flight operations are scheduled or charter, jet or turboprop, international, domestic, regional or corporate.
Sabre® ACARS Manager is included as an optional capability of Dispatch Manager. It processes air-to-ground messaging between ACARS-equipped aircraft and designated positions within the air-line’s SOC. The system’s administrative functions enable flexible decoding, reformatting and distribution of a variety of operational data, reducing the clerical effort to process ACARS-generated messages, facilitating automatic proliferation of accurate data and minimizing redundant data entry.
