Serge starts his career in 1989 at Teleflex Syneravia (Zodiac Group) as Electronics Design Office and Test Lab Manager and then joins in 1993 Artus (Meggitt Group) as Motors and Sensors Test Lab Manager. In 1995, he joins Thales Avionics Electrical Systems where he is successively Engineering Department Manager and VP Engineering & Programs. In 2004, he becomes Innovation Director of THALES Aerospace Division. He joins Safran Group in 2005 Hispano-Suiza as VP Strategy and R&T. He is also VP of Safran Power Division from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, he becomes VP Innovation and R&T of Labinal Power Systems.
He joins Latécoère Group in January 2016 as Senior VP Innovation and R&T.

Mike Horne BEng CEng FIET is General Manager of Latecoere Interconnection Systems UK LTD. After qualifying from the University of Bradford with an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and a Student Apprenticeship with Marconi Avionics in 1983, he has worked extensively in video camera systems for a wide variety of purposes from missile guidance and fire control, to pipe inspection and commercial security. His work has included image intensified and thermal imaging systems.In 1989, Mike was appalled by the tragic loss of life in the air accident at Kegworth in UK, and developed what has become a lifelong passion for the promotion and development of video camera systems aboard commercial aircraft, particularly promoting safety and security of passengers and crew.

From 1995 to 2012 Mike was MD of AD Aerospace Ltd then, after a period as a Consultant, took his current post with Latecoere in 2019. He is now working to develop the first UK subsidiary of the major French aerospace company, and to make a mark as a supplier of harnesses and cables to the aerospace, space and defence industries. Mike retains his keen interest and enthusiasm for the use of video camera systems.

Mike is a past working group chair for the European Organisation for Civil Aviation Equipment (EUROCAE) producing ED-123 (Cockpit security) having previously worked on the specification for the next generation Air Accident Recorder. Mike has spoken at various Aviation Symposia on video based security and safety including being an expert witness at an NTSB Public Hearing in 1999, and a speaker at ISASI 2003, and has been a consultant to several international committees. He is a Chartered Engineer, and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, where he volunteers as a Professional Registration Advisor working with young engineers.

In 2009, Alex was promoted to a leading role managing engineering teams overseeing a wide range of technical services and developing new profitable applications in aerospace.

Alex now serves as Product Manager for CMC’s AIS and Connectivity Solutions. His focus is on developing value-added solutions delivering new efficiencies and addressing Operators’ daily challenges.

Prior to joining Thales UK in 2008, Julia worked for Boeing UK Ltd for 6 years and was with Royal Air Force for 13 years. She has worked in various logistics, after sales support, manufacturing, product development including the delivery of integrated communication packages to aircraft and product strategy throughout her career. Her current focus is on future communication requirements and the necessary product development to ensure that products developed are secure, safe and meet the future Air Traffic Management evolutions.

Prior to the merger of United Technologies Aerospace Systems and Rockwell Collins, Otto was vice president of strategy and business development, for Rockwell Collins Information Management Services (IMS). In this role, he was responsible for global sales, marketing, strategic planning and business development across the IMS portfolios. Responsibilities also include driving product and service strategy development, overseeing merger and acquisition activities, and enhancing sales and marketing excellence. Prior to joining the IMS business, he led global marketing and business development for Rockwell Collins’ Commercial Systems business unit, and was instrumental in guiding the transformation of the function to enhance market positioning. Throughout his career, Otto has had numerous leading roles in capturing new business and major programs on commercial and business aircraft platforms. As an engineer at Rockwell Collins, he served in a variety of engineering management and technical leadership roles. Prior to joining Rockwell Collins, Otto worked at Sperry Flight Systems and Honeywell in systems and software engineering roles.

Otto holds an MBA from the University of Iowa and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Physics from Nebraska Wesleyan University.

An active supporter of STEAM related organizations, Otto recently completed a term on the board of Maryland STEMAction, a non-profit organization promoting STEM education activities throughout Maryland. He is a life-long active supporter and participant in local performing arts organizations. He is a member of the Annapolis Opera executive committee, serving as chair of the organization’s marketing committee, has served as Treasurer on the Orchestra Iowa Board, and was a founding member of Chorale Midwest, including a four-year term as board president.

Florent has a mix of strategic and technical expertise that he developed throughout his career as a consultant and a software developer.

Combining his passions for aerospace and cybersecurity, Florent Rizzo founded CyberInflight in 2019 when he realized that the aerospace market needed to reexamine its approach regarding the future cyber-challenges this industry will be facing.
